Prayagi, a managing partner completed Diploma in Litho-Offset from the Government Institute of Printing Technology, Mumbai. Then proceeded to study at the London College of Printing, London, U. K. on British Council scholarship. First completed Diploma in Graphic Reproduction Technology and later post-graduation study in Colour Reproduction and Quality Control. Also studied Colour Measurement, Photography, Marketing, etc. while at the London College of Printing. Attended specialist courses at PIRA (the leading UK based printing research organisation) and IFRA (the leading Germany based newspaper printing research organisation). Attended many of the training courses at the various manufacturers’ headquarters connected with the printing and graphic arts. Postgraduate International Training course for special teachers jointly organised by PrintPromotion and AZP Chemnitz in Germany. Professional membership includes Institute of Printing, U. K., Royal Photographic Society, U. K., Technologists’ Association of Graphic Arts, U. S. A., Imaging Science & Technology, U. S. A., Colour Group of India, Colour Society of India, Institute of Lighting Engineers, India. Working experience includes four years in Print Production out of which two years were in the U. K. with one of the leading photographers and printers. After return from the U. K. worked with ORWO as Technical Adviser, Du Pont as Technical Executive, BASF as Technical Manager, Crosfield Electronics as Product Manager, and Linotype as General Manager. ...continued
